How to install Google Calendar

To streamline your business operations and improve customer engagement, you can now create a Google Calendar and connect it with a Google Form via ChatDaddy for easy scheduling.

 

This integration allows you to collect booking details through a Google Form and automatically update your calendar and chat responses. Once a customer submits the form, ChatDaddy can trigger confirmation messages, reminders, or follow-ups—helping you manage appointments efficiently and keeping both your team and customers informed at every step.

🗓️If you're using a web browser (on desktop):

  1. Go to Google Calendar:
      • Log in with your Google account (or create one if you don’t have it).
  1. Set up your calendar:
      • Once logged in, your default calendar is already created.
      • You can begin creating events by clicking the “+ Create” button on the top-left corner.
  1. Set up appointment scheduling:
      • Click “+ Create” → Select Appointment schedule
      • Fill in details like title, duration, and available time slots.
      • Customize booking options (e.g., buffer time, limits, video conferencing)
      • Once done, click Save

Export Google Calendar to Google Sheets (Using Google Apps Script)

1. Create a Google Sheet

2. Open the Script Editor

  • Click on Extensions > Apps Script

4. Save and Run

  • Click Save (name it anything)
  • Click the ▶️ Run button
  • Authorize permissions when prompted

5. Check Your Sheet

  • The events should populate in your active sheet.
