WhatsApp Green Tick Application Requirements

  • ⁠ ⁠You must be using an approved Business Account
  • ⁠ ⁠You must enable 2 Step Authentication
  • ⁠ ⁠Facebook Business Manager should be verified by Facebook
  • ⁠ ⁠Must be a business (Individuals are not allowed as of now)
  • ⁠ ⁠Recommended if you are in Tier 2 or above messaging level
  • ⁠ ⁠Must be a notable and reputed brand (optional to submit 5 media links)

How to apply for WhatsApp GreenTick

Apply directly on Meta's WhatsApp Manager

Step 1: To apply via META, select your Business account on Meta Business Suite.

Step 2: Click "Settings".

Step 3: Select the WhatsApp account on the left panel. Select the correct WhatsApp account you'd like to verify and click on WhatsApp Manager.

Step 4: Click on ⚙️ Settings icon on the WhatsApp account you'd like to verify.

Step 5: Under Profile, click on "Submit Request".

If your business does not meet Meta's prerequisite, this button will be greyed out. You won't be able to apply for the green tick.

Step 7: Once submitted, Meta will review your request and inform you if your application is successful.
