WhatsApp Busines API (WABA) Pricing Update

Effective July 1, 2025 for all businesses, Meta (Facebook) has revised their pricing on their platform:
- The conversation-based pricing model will be deprecated ( No longer per conversation/ Chat)
- Meta will charge per-message for template messages instead of per-conversation ( All messages send whether its Marketing, Authentication, Utility (if delivered outside a customer service window) will be charged)
- Pricing defers based on the volume tiers adopted by Meta. (unlock lower utility and authentication rates based on the number of messages overall sent in a month)
Meta determines whether businesses will be eligible for the volume tier on monthly basis.
- Utility templates sent within an open customer service window will be free. This is subjected to: Non-promotional, not containing any promotional or persuasive intent - Must be either specific to, or requested by, the user.
