🔗 Zapier Integration with WooCommerce

Zapier allows you to connect WooCommerce with thousands of apps without coding. By creating Zaps (automated workflows), you can trigger actions in other apps whenever an event happens in WooCommerce—such as a new order, new customer, or product update.


✅ Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • An active WooCommerce store (installed on WordPress).
  • A Zapier account (free or paid, depending on your automation needs).
  • Administrator access to your WordPress/WooCommerce site.

⚙️ Step 1: Install the Zapier Plugin for WooCommerce

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  1. Go to Plugins > Add New.
  1. Search for “WooCommerce Zapier” (official plugin by WooCommerce).

  1. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  1. Once activated, you’ll see a Zapier settings section in WooCommerce.

❗Please note that Zapier integration will induce cost of $99 annually to add extension to Woocommerce.

⚡ Step 2: Create Your First Zap

  1. Log in to Zapier, and click “Create Zap.”

  1. Choose a WooCommerce Trigger event, such as:
      • Order
      • Product

      Ensure to Link your account from Zapier to Woocommerce.

  1. Configure your trigger rule to specify which event takes place.

  1. Select an Action App (e.g., Google Sheets, Slack, Mailchimp, ChatDaddy, etc.).
  1. Click Test Zap to verify the automation.
  1. Recreate Step 2 for other Trigger types/ rules. E.g
    1. Order status chaged
    2. Order paid

⚙️ Step 3: Configure the Action

  1. Select ChatDaddy in the Action App.

  1. Link your ChatDaddy account to Zapier

  1. Click Test Zap to verify the automation.
  1. Turn on the Zap.
