  • Update WhatsApp on both your and the sender’s device. Make sure you're both on the latest version of WhatsApp.

  • Ask the sender to open WhatsApp to resend pending messages or keys.

  • Restart your phone and reopen WhatsApp.

  • On Web/Desktop, open WhatsApp on your phone or re-link the device.

  • Ask the sender to open WhatsApp and resend the message if it was deleted or pending.
