Team Members — How to Delete / Remove a Teammate

Remove a teammate from your ChatDaddy team in a few clicks. Only Admins and the Owner can remove members.

Step 1: Open Settings → Members

Click the Settings (gear) icon at the bottom of the left sidebar, then select Members.

Step 2: Find the teammate

Use the search bar or scroll to find the member you want to remove.

Settings → Members — click the ⋮ menu on the member row

Step 3: Remove them

Click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu at the end of their row and select Remove. Confirm when prompted.

Notes:

  • You cannot remove the team Owner.
  • Removing a member frees up an agent seat immediately — chats assigned to them stay in the inbox and can be reassigned.
  • To add someone new, use + Add Teammate on the same page.

Use + Add Teammate to invite a replacement
