What is an Active Chat?

An Active Chat is counted when at least one message is sent or received between your team and a contact within the current billing month.
Once a chat becomes active:

You can send unlimited messages to that contact for the rest of the month

It will still count as only 1 active chat

The Active Chat month resets on the 1st of every month
What counts as an Active Chat?
A contact is counted as an Active Chat if any of the following happens within the month:

You send a message to the contact

The contact messages you
-
You send a one-way broadcast to the contact
(Even if the customer does not reply)
📌 Important:
A one-way broadcast still counts as an Active Chat, regardless of whether the customer responds.
What does NOT count as an Active Chat?
The following do not count as Active Chats:

Contacts stored in your CRM with no message activity

Imported or synced contacts that were not messaged

Contacts that only received a broadcast in previous months

Contacts with no interaction in the current month
How Active Chat pricing works

Charged once per contact per month

Each contact is counted only once, no matter how many messages are exchanged
