Error code #131042 — "Business Eligibility Payment Issue". There's a problem with the payment account linked to your WABA, which is blocking sending. This is a billing setup issue on Meta's side.

Why This Happens

  • No linked payment account, or it's misconfigured.
  • Exceeded credit limit or an inactive credit line.
  • Missing timezone or currency on the account.
  • An outstanding payment or you've exceeded the free tier.

How to Fix

  1. Open WhatsApp Manager → Payments.
  2. Link or fix the payment account (add a valid payment method).
  3. Ensure timezone and currency are set.
  4. Clear any outstanding payment requests.
  5. Retry sending once payments show as active.
