Error code #131031 — "Business account has been locked". Appears as a pop-up in ChatDaddy when message sending fails. This is a Meta-side restriction, not a ChatDaddy bug. Commonly preceded by 131049 (healthy ecosystem violations) or policy violations.

How to Check Why WABA Is Locked

  1. Log in to Meta Business Manager
  2. Go to Account Quality — Click All tools (☰) → Select Account Quality
  3. Look for your WhatsApp Business Account status
  4. You will see the reason for the restriction and available actions. Typical messages:
  • Business Account Locked
  • Policy violation
  • Messaging restriction
  • Commerce / scam policy issues
  • Quality rating drop

How to Submit an Appeal

  1. In the Account Quality page, click Request Review
  2. Provide the requested business details and explanation
  3. Submit the appeal directly to Meta for review. Meta will notify you via Business Manager once review is completed.
