WABA — Phone Number Disconnected: Recovery Steps

Common Causes

1. Failed billing (Meta suspended number)
2. Quality rating dropped to Red
3. Meta verification lapsed
4. Policy violation (spam, non-opted-in contacts)

Recovery Steps

1. Check Meta Business Manager → WhatsApp Manager → Phone Numbers → check Quality Rating + Status
2. Verify payment: pay any outstanding Meta invoice
3. Re-register in ChatDaddy: Settings > Channels > WABA > Remove > re-add same number
4. If Quality Rating is Red: reduce volume immediately, remove non-opted-in contacts, wait 7 days

Still disconnected after steps 1–3 → collect account_id + Meta Business Manager ID → WABA specialist
