Will I lose my Meta Verified badge when I onboard, and how can I restore it?

🧾 Yes. Onboarding your WhatsApp Business App to the WhatsApp Business API removes your Meta Verified badge (blue tick) — the subscription is tied to the app-only setup and doesn't carry over.

How to restore it:

1. Go to your Meta Business Profile (business.facebook.com)
2. Re-subscribe to Meta Verified for the business
3. The badge re-applies to your WhatsApp presence once the subscription is active
